The nice thing about weekends away is discovering new recipes. This is one that I recently picked up while in Wilderness. It is from a community newspaper. The article was titled: "particularly pleasing pomegranates".
The recipe that snagged my interest was for pomegranate muffins. It sounds terribly interesting. The main challenge however is how to "harvest" the pomegranate seeds! Pomegranates are autumnal fruits. According to the article, they originated from Persia and were used by the french to make Grenadine syrup.
